About Our Association

NFBAA-North Florida Business Aviation Association

The North Florida Business Aviation Association, Inc. ("NFBAA") is a not-for-profit, aviation-industry, regional economic development and service organization. The NFBAA is firmly committed to the "safety of flight". This entity was formed to provide a network and forum for its Members, primarily North Florida business-aviation owner/operators and their service and infrastructure providers; as well as, to enable the entire community within the region to properly recognize the significance and importance of this rapidly changing industry. Such changes include vast infra-structure and technological advances, which can lead to significant growth opportunities.

The NFBAA was formed in Florida as a not-for-profit, tax-exempt, IRC 501(c)(6).

This is an association of persons having a common business interest, such as business aviation, and supports certain aviation-related charitable, regional developmental and educational activities.

As you will see in the 2006 Board Membership , the NFBAA Board consists of a group which comes from diverse perspectives of the business aviation industry: pilots; corporate flight departments; FBOs; airport authorities; maintenance; aviation technologies; education; legal; OEMs; etc. "Operational Safety" is the NFBAA's highest priority, and the program for 2006 will reflect this.
